Composer, producer, conductor and musician Troy Miller has announced a live show featuring Laura Mvula and The London Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican, London on July 21st. Having already collaborated with many orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra and BBC Orchestras, Troy brings together spectacular and intriguing arrangements of timeless songs.

The Barbican show is conducted and arranged by Miller, who also produced Mvula’s 2016 album The Dreaming Room and played drums on her 2013 debut Sing To The Moon. Tickets are available now through Barbican.org.uk.

With a career dating back to 2004, Troy Miller has worked with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Adele, Mark Ronson, Roy Ayers, Gregory Porter, Lulu, Cee Lo Green, Chaka Khan, Macy Gray, Grace Jones, Sister Sledge, Rebecca Ferguson, George Benson, Donna Summer and many more.
Miller has produced a number of landmark records in his career, including the single ‘Water Under Bridges’ taken from Gregory Porter’s 2014 Grammy Award winning album Liquid Spirit. He is currently working with Jamie Cullum on a brand new album and plans to release his own record next year.
As an acclaimed drummer, Miller has performed high profile shows across the world, including appearances at the 2008 Grammys and Brit Awards with Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson. He also played on the platinum-selling 2010 debut album Seasons Of My Soul from Rumer and, as a touring musician, has played with the likes of Chaka Khan, Donna Summer and Roy Ayers.
An alumnus of The Guildhall School Of Music and Drama in London, where he has since returned as a guest lecturer, Miller has given master classes at institutions across the UK including Tech Schools, the Trinity College Of Music, BIMM and the Royal Academy Of Music, London.
